Thanksgiving

We had a very enjoyable and relaxing Thanksgiving with my family this year. The home-cooked Thanksgiving food was delicious, as always. There were a total of 12 of us with my brother-in-law's parents that joined us. Good food + good company = good day.

After our feast around 1:30, a few of us tried to walk off some of our dinner around the RSM lake near my parents' house. Gorgeous. The boys even tagged along to play nerf football around the girls as we walked and talked. Connor took a nap at home.

Jaxson even got in on the football fun.

Touchdown!!

Teaching him the "down" position.

Then he tackled Uncle Jono.

Later that weekend we went to the Laguna Hills Mall to take pictures with Santa in their "Dear Santa, I can explain" shirts. The kids weren't exactly thrilled. Connor was unsure of the big guy and fussed a little (and, of course, wouldn't smile). Poor Jaxson was terrified. However, both kids still had the right mind to take the candy canes Santa gave them!

Practicing.

And we took more pictures of them in their Christmas jammies.

We also went to Dave & Buster's for dinner and games that weekend at the Spectrum in Irvine. Connor's favorite part was playing in the fountain outside.

As always, we have so much to be thankful for. We have loved living in California and have been very blessed in our job opportunities. We have wonderful friends and families that love and support us, and we have been mostly healthy this year (until Christmas, that's another post). We are ever-grateful for the gospel and for our marriage in the temple that allows to be together always.

We hope you all had a great Thanksgiving too.
